Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake

This cake is Everything! 15 min and its in the oven. If you have 15 min just try it. You won’t be disappointed. Kid approved. Need I say more?

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mashed banana or applesauce. 
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, pumpkin, banana or applesauce and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.
  2. Pour into a greased bundt pan or 2 loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to wire rack.
